One of the most fulfilling and most challenging journeys you'll ever go on is seeing what your body is able to do. Perhaps you are in shape, wholly out of shape, or simply looking to lose some weight. Nonetheless, developing a body you can be proud, one that's healthy, and lets you really adore each last tiny inch of it truly is a dazzling journey to try.

So what is the key to making a lasting change with your body?

Consistency and commitment.

There's nothing else like coming to the table each day and giving it your best shot. Your best effort must be yours and yours alone. Don't start comparing your journey to other journeys or else you may become unmotivated and deterred. Instead, really try and understand you're competing with yourself and yourself alone. Will there be times on your journey where you try and fail? Yes, many times. But every single time you do, you must come back with a dedication to achieving something that you strongly desire. Consistency will keep you in the game and on the field each and every day. Without it, you will suffer the the inescapable and bad reality of many new years resolutioners who give up every single year on developing the body of their dreams because they do not have the power to keep on coming back again and againand again.

Commitment also suggests itself, but not the commitment that you're likely thinking of. In our world, we are fed this concept that everything must take place at this time and if it does not actually happen now, it's not worthwhile. Your body is going to change acrossthe years, so why not make a real lifelong promise to keeping healthy? Is that a marketable and marketable idea? Not so much. But is it something that might truly change the course of your life? Absolutely.

When you make a commitment to keeping your body healthy throughout your entire life, you will at last reach whatever goal you wish. It's about seeing the overall picture than just the few months in front of you until summer. It's honestly about developing something that you truly can be pleased with for ever and ever. For me, that new concept changed the course of my life as I was able to eventually hit my health goals after 12 years of struggling with my self-image and food issues. But as soon as I changed my view of what I was trying to achieve, everything I had wished for came to me. So try it on for size and see if it's working for you. Make a lifelong and relentless commitment to staying healthy and watch how much your body will change in the short term too.

Bring some commitment and consistency to the table, in all aspects of your life, and things will change radically.
