The Worst Kind of Foods on earth!

By Vanessa Summer

There are plenty of food items out there that, even though they taste good, are very very bad for you. Some of these foods are instantly identifiable: fast food, to use one example, is quite tasty but loaded with calories and other things that will damage our bodies in major ways. But what about all those foods that, on the surface, look like wise choices? What about some of those food items that you give to your kids? Keep reading to find out what a few of the worst type of things in the world are to feed to your family members (or yourself).

Just about one of the worst things in the world, which is kind of a big surprise, is macaroni and cheese. The make-on-your-own variety that you can get, like Annie's or Kraft, is relatively fine but the kind you order in a restaurant is not. The Kids Mac and Cheese supper that you order in California Pizza Kitchen, to apply one example, is incredibly bad! Just a single arrangement of this food retains just about forty grams of saturated fat, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and more than one thousand calories. No part of that is truly healthful.

How many times do you get those frozen pot pies out of your grocery store's freezer section? On the outside these appear to be fine, healthy last minute dinners or lunches but the fact is that most of them are loaded with extra calories. Stouffer's pot pies, to apply one example, store over eleven hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and almost eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. You could find yourself eating all of your recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You are probably under the opinion that if you are going to have something from a sandwich shop, the vegetarian sandwich is your healthiest option, right? The real truth is that these sandwiches usually are dressed with dressings and other condiments which contribute to making them just as unhealthy as a meat-based sandwich. The vegetarian sandwich you might be eating from Blimpies is set with in excess of thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium, almost sixty grams of fat and almost twelve hundred calories. How would that ever possibly be regarded as healthy?

A salad should be healthful, right? Most of us suppose this is accurate anyway. When we are wanting something healthful and quick, we usually look for a salad to help fill us up with food that is good for us. You are likely to be surprised to find out, then, that there are some salads that are quite unhealthy. TGI Fridays's Santa Fe chopped salad, to apply one example, contains nearly eighteen hundred calories. This may well be because the salad is the size of a huge dinner plate but think of it: do you want all of your caloric intake for the day to be used up by this one salad?

The simple fact is that a lot of the food that we order while we are on the go or from restaurants is just not as good for us as the food that we cook and prepare for ourselves. We know that you may not be in love with the idea of cooking for yourself but the truth is that, specifically when you're trying to lose weight and improve your health, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
