Want to Know Your Real Age?
Want to know how old your body really is? Well that makes sense,
as most of us take care of our body differently, and have different
genetics which further effect our body's condition and as a result:
we age differently. Today, there are exams which take in all our emotional, mental and physical health information and provide us with a "real age" number.
The Real Age Test site, which basically gives you a little quiz and in the end compares your real age to your body's real age, and then gives you suggestions on how you can improve your current health status.
The questions are divided into four sections: Health, Feelings, Diet, and Fitness. Throughout the exam you're first asked about your history with diseases, and family history with diseases along with your physical state. Afterwards it takes in all your basic statistics such as height, weight, waist size, etc.
As I continued with the exam I realized that it takes in a lot of details and in the end I found out that it gives a very descriptive number with some great tips on how to improve. Questions about my smoking and drinking habits were asked. However, the most interesting part, for me, was the feelings section which asked me general questions about how happy I am, or if I experienced some kind of crisis recently.
The exam even went into asking questions about my parents marriage and my own marriage. Clearly, this is all done in order to find out how you are on a mental and emotional level. For example, financial problems or a stressful divorce can lead to physical effects on the body. Furthermore it asks you what you expect in the future (are you optimistic or pessimistic) along with relationships with friends and family.
The last two sections ask you about the general health of your body. The intake of food, what kind of food, and how often you eat it. The Fitness section also asks about cardiovascular, strength, and flexible training.
Indeed, you can see that this test is really details, but isn't that kind of stuff we're looking for? I think it's a great test which provides a lot of insight on things we can change to make us happier, healthier and less stressed throughout our daily lives. I'd highly recommend getting more information since it can really be a positive, eye-opening experience which takes only a few minutes.
